Despite the rain forcing our school picnic indoors, the Lakeview community showed up in a HUGE way today! We served nearly 500 meals, kept the excitement going with an amazing glow dance, and created so many special memories for our students.
As one student said while walking through the building, “Today was the best day ever!”

🎉 1,000 Positive Office Referrals! 🎉
This week, Lakeview celebrated our 1,000th Positive Office Referral of the school year! What an amazing accomplishment and reflection of the incredible work our students and staff have done together throughout the year.
Every day, our students continue to show what it means to be a Lakeview CARES student through Cooperation, Assertiveness, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control. These referrals celebrate the positive choices, growth, leadership, kindness, and hard work happening throughout our building each and every day.
Bingo Night was a huge success with over 250 people in attendance! It was so wonderful to see the laughter and joy as our Lakeview community came together for such a fun evening. A massive thank you to LESO for all their hard work in putting on this fantastic event. We truly couldn't have done it without you!
Even with the cold weather, Literacy Night at Lakeview was a success! Thank you to our families for coming out, engaging in great conversations, and enjoying cookies and hot cocoa together.
At Lakeview, Mrs. Seeger read Blizzard and challenged students to take the story further by programming robots to plow snow in their cities. Literacy meets creativity and problem-solving!
Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, will be an e-Learning Day. Students are expected to complete ONE Choice Board (choice board 1) to be turned in to their classroom teacher no later than 3 days following the e-Learning Day. Please check your email for instructions on how to access a choice board if you do not already have a physical copy. Stay warm!
🌊 🦈 🦑 Our 3rd grade students created a didactic wall panel to explain why and how scientists study sea creatures, using facts, definitions, and details from texts like Shark Attack and Giant Squid: Searching for a Sea Monster. Their work shows what they learned, which sea animals they found most fascinating, and how reading helped them better understand our world. We are so proud of their curiosity and hard work! 📚 🔬 🌎
Our Kindergartners love hanging out with their 5th grade buddies! Who wouldn’t want a friend who can open snacks and tie shoes? 😄👟🧃

2025 Lakeview Walkathon
2nd grade visited Hormel Nature Center. We learned about different types of seeds and how they disperse. We also pressed apples to make apple cider.

Lakeview celebrated an amazing Walkathon success with our Principal and Teachers of the Day. Students and staff had a great time and enjoyed every moment together. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this celebration such a fun and memorable event for our school community.
Lakeview students were all smiles today as they enjoyed lunch around our new lunch tables from Southwest! The fresh look has brought lots of excitement and chatter as students settle in at their new spots. We love seeing their energy and joy during lunchtime!
